Did you know, for example, that mosquitoes just hate garlic smell? So one of the easiest ways to make sure that mosquitoes will never fly in your direction is to eat some garlic! When you consume at least one clove, garlic oil releases from your pores, creating a powerful barrier between your skin and mosquitoes.

Ticks hate distilled vinegar. Mix 2 pts vinegar and 1 pt water and spray liberally. You will smell like vinegar for a few moments but it will dry and keep ticks off you and your clothing. I use this and a Clove and alcohol mix for mosquitoes. (6 oz Cloves and grind these to powder or thick chunks) add a bottle of 70% rubbing alcohol in qt jar. Put lid on and let stand for 3-4 wks, mixing the bottle daily. Strain, place in spray bottle and there you are. Good to go. SO GO OUT AND PLAY!!!
